About Teague Lashnits
Born and raised in Colorado, Teague received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, with studies at Arizona State University. Teague was first licensed in Arizona in 2005, and then in Colorado in 2006. He began his practice as an insurance defense lawyer working for some of the most respected law firms in Denver and Phoenix.
He represented large insurance companies in litigation disputes ranging from garden-variety auto injury accidents, to tragic multi-party wrongful death matters, to multi-million dollar construction and real estate disputes, and everything in between. For more than a decade, Teague advised insurance companies as to the merits and value of cases brought against their insureds. In other words, if you sued someone for their insurance, Teague was the attorney who the insurance companies relied upon to advise them as to how they should resolve the case, including its settlement or trial verdict value.
In 2016, Teague decided to switch sides and utilize his exceptional legal acumen to help injury victims against the large, and often unfair, insurance companies. He gained tremendous experience working for injury victims as an attorney for one of the most respected and most successful plaintiff's personal injury firms in town. In 2019, Teague formed Atticus Law, PLLC, to continue that tradition of excellence in representing injury victims. His experience working on behalf of insurance companies has given Teague a unique ability to evaluate and strategize cases he now brings against those insurance companies on behalf of injured parties because he knows exactly how the insurance company is evaluating each case.
Teague has consistently achieved outstanding results for his clients and boasts an unblemished trial and arbitration record, including one of the top ten jury verdicts in the entire state of Arizona in 2018. A multiple-year recipient of the distinguished and peer-nominated Super Lawyers Rising Star award in both Colorado and Arizona, Teague is respected amongst his fellow attorneys and in the legal community as a whole.
